You can add tags to video items as part of the video upload form. Tagging happens on step 2. Tags appear on the page that displays the videos along with the taxonomic categories. Tags also appear in the the tags portlet (you can change where and on what pages this portlet appears) and on the /tagcloud/view page. Tags are weighted based on the frequency they occur.

Clicking on a tag takes you to a dynamic listing of videos.

Tagging uses the built in keyword system for Plone along with  Vaporisation. The documents there note that the portlet comes via  Portletification

On a fresh installation

On a fresh installation, tags do not appear as soon as you publish a video with a tag (or tags). You will need to go to the TagCloud page, links to this are available in the portlet on the top right or at the bottom of the Navigation Tree on the left. When there, use "update whole cloud" to get tags to show for the first time. You will only need to do this once per install. Also note that there is a preferences tab that can control things like the number of tags shown and what size is the largest.
