Reported by: grant Owned by: dave

Component: AuthorProfile Severity:

Description (last modified by anna) (diff)

A taxonomy listing such as these:  http://testing.plumi.org/taxonomy/genre/fiction  http://www.engagemedia.org/taxonomy/genre/fiction

So you should see the name of the Member who added it, which is a link back to their author page, listed along with the short description, categories etc.

Could you expand on this? What taxonomy listings are you talking about?

This refers to the AuthorProfile?, but any link to a video author will go to the page it is being viewed anyway.

ahh I think my confusion is coming about as this appears marked in the current egg as been moved to a separate product .. in my devel version both on my local and on the testing server do no have these taxonomies.

4.0rc1 (2010-12-12) [unweb.me] ==============================

  • update vocabs, move taxonomy generation in a separate product [clopy]

Indeed, taxonomies were moved to em.taxonomies. You can get it using svn from:  https://svn.engagemedia.org/em.taxonomies/trunk/

This is in the video_listing_view, which also affects other parts of plumi such as latest videos. I can either add it to this, or factor the view out in em.taxonomies

  • Summary changed from Add link to video author in taxonomy listings to Add link to video author in taxonomy and other video listings

I think we can include this in all listings.

I don't think I can test this fully, as the taxonomy listings aren't available:  http://testing.plumi.org:16080/Plone/

For example I don't see the browse button, and can't access a taxonomy listing such as this:  http://testing.plumi.org:16080/Plone/taxonomy/genre/animation

In which I should be able to see the test video that has been allocated that genre.

It is available in:

  • latest videos listing
  • front page - latest & featured

Just need to check the taxonomy listings too.

Dave, the full taxonomies are now created through the em.taxonomies product. You can get it from svn.engagemedia.org.

Thanks Mike, yes I had it installed on my local but not the server, installed now.
